đď¸ “Called to be Instruments of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation”
We, the Sisters of the Congregation of Jesus Mary Joseph (JMJ), in communion with the Church and the cries of our times, respond with compassion and courage to the call of Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC).
Rooted in the charism of our founder Rev. Fr. Mathias Wolff, who envisioned a world of dignity, healing, and hope, we walk alongside the poor, the excluded, the vulnerable, and all of creation.
âď¸ Justice
In a world torn by inequality, exploitation, and injustice, we strive to:
Uplift the dignity of every person, especially the marginalized.
Stand in solidarity with victims of human trafficking, women and children, and those deprived of basic human rights.
Empower communities through education, legal awareness, and advocacy.
Be a voice for the voiceless, challenging unjust systems with Gospel courage.
âŽď¸ Peace
As disciples of the Prince of Peace, we become:
Peacemakers in our institutions and ministries, promoting non-violence, dialogue, and forgiveness.
Bridge-builders among communities torn by conflict, discrimination, or mistrust.
Animators of youth to choose peace over aggression, inclusion over hate, and unity over division.
đą Integrity of Creation
Amid growing environmental degradation and climate crisis, we reaffirm:
That the Earth is our common home, entrusted to our care.
We commit to eco-friendly practices in our schools, hospitals, and convents.
We promote tree planting, clean water campaigns, waste management, and green energy.
We educate others to live in harmony with nature, seeing creation as a sacred gift from God.
đĄ Our Actions Speak
Through our Basic Education Projects, we promote equality and literacy.
In our Health Care Ministry, we serve the poor with dignity and compassion.
In our Social Work, we restore hope to the oppressed and marginalized.
In every mission, we aim to be women of justice, peace, and ecological integrity.
đ Our Prayer and Witness
In our daily lives, we pray:
âLord, make us instruments of Your justice, peace, and care for creation. Let our ministries radiate Your love, challenge oppression, and bring hope to the world.â
We commit to witness the Gospel not only in words but in actionâwalking in humility, standing for truth, sowing peace, and cherishing life in all its forms.
Together, as JMJ sisters and lay collaborators,
we say “YES” to JPICâ
Not as a program,
but as a way of life.
Rooted in compassion and guided by the values of justice, peace, and human dignity, JMJ SSS works towards the empowerment of marginalized communitiesâespecially women, children, youth, and the socially excludedâthrough sustainable.
